This week allows us the opportunity to reflect on and acknowledge the special people and events that have contributed to our learning and lives throughout our primary years.

We thank you for supporting your child over the course of this year: with homework, class tasks, excursions, incursions and graduation preparation. We appreciate your efforts and believe that each child has had a wonderful year of learning and growing, developing into a responsible, respectful person.

Thank you!

Orientation Day – Tuesday 10 December

Dear Parents,

For those students attending a government secondary school in 2020 (e.g. Box Hill High, Blackburn High, Koonung SC, Forest Hill College), there will be an orientation day on Tuesday 10th December. Students are not required to come to Laburnum PS at all on this day and need to make their own way to their new secondary school. Any students who are attending an independent secondary school who do not have orientation on this day should come to LPS as normal.

Please contact me if you have any queries.

Student laptops – end of year preparation.

As part of end of year procedures for taking laptops home a couple of things have to take place.

Students are asked to save / copy and back up on USB or portable hard drive any work / files they want to keep.

Laptops will then need to to come back to school on Monday 2nd December in their bags and with their charging cables ready to be re-imaged by our IT Technician over the course of the next 2 weeks.

Once this process has been completed laptops will be returned to students. They will be ready for use at home and not required back at school for the rest of the year.

Many thanks for your cooperation with this process,
